Warren Myrfield, President
Warren has been in the business of sawmill automation for more than 35 years working with equipment manufacturers developing products, and directly with sawmills upgrading existing facilities. He has developed many software motion algorithms that take advantage of machine dynamics and Saw feed algorithms to increase production. He developed the Optimized Bandsaw Feed System and received a patent on it in 2004. He is responsible for the development of the controls for a number of the high production and high recovery End Doggers built by Kockums Cancar, and RSI, most notably the Roseburg Forest Products’ Dual End Dogger. He is the inventor of the Band Saw-ADDtm and Round Saw-ADDtm and President of Saw ADD LLC.
Warren received a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.

Virginia is available to handle any of your scheduling, customer service or sales needs. You will find her charming to talk with and eager to help. Her background is in music but she has a strong machanical aptitude and is fast learning the sawmill industry.
Marty Vatkin, Sales Representative/ Customer Service
Marty’s 40+ years involvement in the lumber industry has given him a vast comprehension of all things related to sawmills and makes him a perfect fit for our growing company. He is known for his can-do attitude, innovative approach to problem solving and passion for precision mechanics.
He has been Head Filer for Interfor, Adams Lake division for the last 10 years and in the last 5 years president of the BC Filers Association. He has been Head Filer at 4 mills for a total of 25 years.
Marty has also owned and operated Sawline Consulting since 1990 specializing in Laser Alignment, Wheel Grinding, Trouble Shooting, Filing Room Development and personnel training.
He has taught industrial courses for Energy Transfer Technology, which included Coupling Alignment, Vertical Shaft Alignment, Machine Center Alignment, Troubleshooting, Belt Maintenance and Conveyors.
In the past he has been Maintenance Superintendent for 9 years at a 4-line mill and has been a Saw Filer since 1978, ticketed in 1988.
